Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy is a community academy, operating under Ormiston Academy Trust. Our admissions policy is set out in accordance with statutory legislation and has been determined by the Trust. 

The Academy welcomes pupils between the ages of 4 – 11 years and has an admission number of 54 children per year group from September 2021.

Was your child born between September 2021 and August 2022? If so – this information is for you!

This year we are hold 3 stay and play sessions for prospective parents and pupils and hope that you will be able to join us.

  • Wednesday 24th September from 3:30pm till 4:15pm
  • Wednesday 22nd October from 3:30pm till 4:15pm
  • Wednesday 19th November from 3:30pm till 4:15pm

During the session children will be able to experience play in the Reception classroom and play area, you’ll also be able to meet key staff and ask any questions that you may have. Please email [email protected] or call 01493 603462 to book your place.

  • Applications for the 2026/27 academic year begins on 23rd September 2025. The closing date for applications for this year is 15th January 2026. National Offer Day is 15th April 2026. 
  • Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy requires parents to apply via Norfolk County Council’s common application process to apply for a place for their child(ren) 

National Offer Day is on 15th April 2026, we will contact all parents/carers after this date and arrange a drop-in/transition session for all Reception pupils who will be joining us for the 2025-2026 academic year.

If your child is in Year 6 you will need to make an application for a Secondary School Place (High School) in preparation for the September.
