New nursery provision from 1 April 2027
Following consultation, we will proceed with the proposal to create a nursery provision at Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy. We will create a 16 place nursery provision from 1 April 2027, expanding up to a 21 place nursery provision over 3-years.
The nursery provision will ensure we continue to provide a high-quality provision for children of three and above, to ensure the best start for our pupils’ education. We will create a 16 place provision, targeting those parents that don’t currently access the Early Years universal entitlement and those parents who do currently have siblings attending Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy. In opening this provision, our aim is to create a seamless learning journey for children from the age of three to eleven, allowing them to build on their knowledge over a more sustained period and through a bespoke curriculum.
